FINANCE ASSOCIATE – PROCURE TO PAY ACCOUNTING (HUNGARY)
HOW IS WORKING IN THE PEOPLE TEAM SPECIAL?
Be part of our exciting journey building up a brand-new department managing financial processes across Hungary, Slovakia and the Czech Republic. Exciting new opportunities are available for finance professionals in different teams such as Accounts Payable, Invoice Matching and Master Data Management.
ABOUT THE ROLE AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
As an associate you would be a fundamental part of the Financial Operations and be at the forefront of the business – the foundation of how we deliver for customers and colleagues every day. The essence of all positions will be the proper and prompt communication with both partners and colleagues (e.g.: in the Bengaluru Hub), handling queries and acting as a control point regarding the organization’s financial activities.
Invoice Matching
• Handling problematic invoices issued by suppliers
• investigating, reaching out to local suppliers and to the business (local Tesco colleagues) if needed and resolving the issue
• Sub ledger reconciliation and Period End sweep activities, posting period close transactions, balance sheet reconciliation, reporting
Accounts Payable
• Handling the problematic invoices (utilities, services, etc)
• investigating, reaching out to local suppliers and to the business (local Tesco colleagues) if needed and resolving the issue
• Creating accruals, Purchase Order creation and management, reporting
Master Data Management
• Administrative role for manageing the supplier data we have set in our accounting system, Oracle
• Adding new suppliers, editing data for existing suppliers and iinvestigating and resolving issues with wrongly supplier setup
REQUIREMENTS:
• Knowledge of Czech or Slovak language at advanced level and English language at intermediate level
• 0 – 2 years of experience in similar role in Finance
• Graduates with a University degree from a relevant field (Finance, Business studies or similar) are welcome
• Intermediate MS Office (Microsoft Word, Excel,PowerPoint, Outlook, Access) knowledge
• Analytical skills
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Customer focus
